Mr Lee Hock Meng

Dato Sri Lee Hock Seng

Dato’ Sri Lee Hock Seng, Malaysian, aged 69, was appointed as the Executive Chairman / Managing Director of SCGM Bhd (“SCGM” or “ the Company”) on 19 December 2007. He was redesignated as Executive Chairman on 9 December 2015. He is one of the founders of Lee Soon Seng Plastic Industries Sdn. Bhd. (LSSPI) and has been the Managing Director of LSSPI since its incorporation on 4 May 1984. In 1995, he completed an external training programme, namely the 7th Asian Factory Management Course 1995 in Taipei, Taiwan. Subsequently, in 1997, he completed a course in Middle Management Leadership Training Programme in Johor Bahru, Johor.
Dato’ Sri Lee Hock Seng started his career in 1969 as a Marketing and Distribution personnel with Lee Soon Seng, a distributor and wholesaler for F&N (M) Sdn Bhd. In 1984, he left Lee Soon Seng to set up LSSPI.
Presently, he is responsible for the strategic business development and future directions of our Group. He frequently travels abroad to keep abreast with the latest developments in the packaging industry and to explore new market prospects for our Group.
Furthermore, his responsibilities also include the development and implementation of marketing strategies and product distribution. He was awarded the DIMP which carries the title of Dato’ and the SSAP which carries the title of Dato’ Sri by the Sultan of Pahang in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

Dato Sri Lee Hock Chai

Dato’ Sri Lee Hock Chai, Malaysian, aged 58, was appointed as the Executive Director of SCGM
on 19 December 2007. He is also the Executive Director of LSSPI since 4 May 1984. He is one of
the founders of LSSPI. He began his career as a Factory Manager with LSSPI in 1984. 

In 1998, he was promoted to the position of Operations Manager. His responsibilities include developing new products and providing engineering support, machinery and factory facility
maintenance.

Dato’ Sri Lee Hock Chai was promoted to become the Managing Director of SCGM on 9 December
2015. He is presently responsible to implement and execute the strategic business development plan
of the Group. 

He has more than thirty five (35) years of experience in the field of research and development. He
was awarded the SSAP which carries the title of Dato’ Sri by the Sultan of Pahang in 2012. 

Dato Sri Lee Hock Guan

Dato’ Sri Lee Hock Guan, Malaysian, aged 59, was appointed as the Executive Director of SCGM
on 19 December 2007 and was redesignated as Deputy Managing Director on 15 March 2017. He
has been the Executive Director of LSSPI since 4 May 1984. In 1997, he completed a course in
Middle Management Leadership Training Programme in Johor Bahru, Johor.

Dato’ Sri Lee Hock Guan began his career in 1979 as a Sales Executive in Lee Soon Seng, a distributor and wholesaler for F&N (M) Sdn Bhd.

He presently assists the Managing Director in areas which include overall material requirements
planning, manpower, production capacity, general machinery maintenance and overall safety in
production activities. 

He frequently travels abroad to enhance his knowledge in new technology and automation for
production. He has more than thirty five (35) years of experience in the field of production. He was
awarded the SSAP which carries the title of Dato’ Sri by the Sultan of Pahang in 2012.
 

Mr Lee Hock Meng, Malaysian, aged 66, was appointed as the Executive Director of SCGM on 19
December 2007. He was the Executive Director of LSSPI since 4 May 1984. In 1997, he participated
in the 9th Seminar on Factory Management and Marketing for Overseas Chinese Businessman.

In 1979, Mr Lee began his career as a Sales Executive with Lee Soon Seng, a distributor and
wholesaler for F&N (M) Sdn Bhd.

Mr Lee was attached to Lee Soon Seng for approximately eleven (11) years before joining LSSPI in
1990 as a Logistics Manager. He is presently responsible for overall shipping and logistic
management for the Group. 

Meet The Our Independent Non- Executive Directors

Ms Patrica Rangene Packium

Ms. Patricia Rangene Packium, Malaysian, aged 45, was appointed as the Independent NonExecutive Director of SCGM on 16 August 2019. She graduated with an Honours Degree from the University of London in 1997 and was later admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2002.

She has thirteen (13) years experience handling conveyancing, banking and corporate matters as
well as civil litigation matters.

She is currently acting as counsel for more than three (3) legal firms throughout the country and in
addition she is also running her own legal practice under the name of Patricia Packium & Associates
since 2015.

She serves as the Chairperson of the Nomination Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and
Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Ms Lim Peng Peng


Ms. Lim Peng Peng, Malaysian, aged 39, was appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Director
of SCGM on 16 August 2019. She graduated from Monash University, Malaysia with a Bachelor of
Business and Commerce degree in 2002. She is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the
Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a member of the CPA Australia. 

After graduation, she worked in Deloitte KassimChan for 5 years and was promoted to Audit
Manager in 2006. Subsequently, she worked at Horwath First Trust and Ernst & Young in Singapore
from 2007 to 2008. She rejoined Deloitte KassimChan and progressed to Audit Director in 2012. 

She was the Group Financial Controller of SCGM Bhd from 2016 to May 2017. She is presently the
Audit Principal of Kudos Ling Chuo & Lim.

She serves as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee, a member of
the Nomination Committee of the Company.
 

Ms Lee Yee Ling

Ms. Lee Yee Ling, Malaysian, aged 35, was appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Director
of SCGM on 16 August 2019. She graduated from University of Bradford (UK) with Bachelor of
Science (Honours Degree) in Business and Management studies in 2006. She began her career as a
Production Planning Executive with Hitachi Koki (M) Sdn Bhd from 2006 to 2008. Subsequently,
she joined a metal component manufacturer as a Marketing Executive where she was given the
opportunity to be involved in the formulation of marketing strategy, operation management, resource
planning and financial planning. She has over 11 years working experience in the metal component
manufacturing company and is presently its General Manager and Executive Director.

She serves as the member of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Nomination
Committee of the Company.
